Comedy Off Broadway extends two different and profitable ways to raise money for your charity or special interest with a special Comedy FUNdraiser. Both ways, however, are limited to only to those with Non-Profit Tax ID status.
OPTION #1: Charity Ticket Vouchers  (tailored towards an expectation of 100 or less tickets sold)
 
Comedy Off Broadway  will provide your organization with up to 100 ticket vouchers for a specific Wednesday or Thursday show. Your group sells the tickets at a price set by your group (usually between $7-15). All ticket sales will be collected by you. This is how it works:
 
 
  • We provide your organization with up to 100 ticket vouchers for a pre-determined Wednesday or Thursday regularly scheduled 8:00pm show. This show is also open to the general public and we will continue to sell tickets at our regular price.
  • You set the ticket price for your ticket vouchers group (usually between $7-15). Two (2) business days prior to the event, you will turn in all remaining vouchers. For every ticket voucher not turned in, the sold vouchers, your group will be responsible for also turning in our share of the ticket sale. Wednesday shows – your group keeps all but $3.00; for Thursday shows – your group keeps all but $3.50. ... for example – if you sell 90 Wednesday ticket vouchers at $12.00 each for $1080.00 ... you pay our $3 per, keeping $810.00 for your charity.
  • This option is open only to those with Non-Profit Tax status.
  • We prefer no less than three (3) weeks lead-time, in order to assure the best possible opportunity to raise money for your group.
  • Because of some contractual limitations, certain Special Engagement weeks may not be available.
  • After the initial 100 ticket vouchers are sold, more can be made available. Obviously subject to availability. The club maxes out around 250 seats. When picking up additional tickets, payment for the original 100 would be required. The ticket vouchers will have the group or charity name on it’s face; as well as your choice of ticket price and showtime. These vouchers are all general admission vouchers. The purchaser would merely trade them for actual seat assignments at the box office. The box office would be available to assign the seats any day – all the way up until showtime.
  • The showroom is available for an added fee of $75 per additional hour (or partial hour) – prior to immediately following the show. This time may be used for catered functions, auctions, meetings, audio/video presentations, awards, speakers or sing-a-longs.
  • We have the capability to show your videos (VHS 1/2" or ¾3/4”) prior to/after the show. Let us know of any unique needs you may have to make this a multi-function event. We specialize in catering to special needs before and after the show, just ask!

OPTION #2: Private Show FUNdraiser Rental (tailored towards larger events, including catered events, auctions, etc; usually with an expectation of no less than 75 tickets sold)
 
Comedy Off Broadway extends a special FUNdraiser rate for your room rental. This base rate of $600.00 Wednesday or $700.00 Thursday is available only to groups with a Non-Profit Tax ID number. The rates will vary week-to-week. Please inquire about specific dates for actual quotes.
 
Please submit this number with your initial deposit. This is offered for the purpose of making a FUNdraiser a profitable one for your charity and not available for other possible private shows.
 
The ticket price will be set by your group (usually between $7-15). All ticket sales will be collected by you. A floorplan and tickets will be made available, along with some guidance on how best to sell tickets while maintaining control of the show. As we will normally receive inquires about your event, please leave us ticket purchasing information for our ticket sales personnel. You may consider selling space on the tickets to event sponsors or selling in-house commercials or signage to sponsors (your charity keeps 100%) or having an auction after the show.
 
The club is available nearly all Wednesdays or Thurdays for rental. Some Mondays or Tuesdays with special travel price adjustments. (Sunday -Tuesdays are standard talent travel days.) The show would be closed to the public, for your use.
 
Usually the lounge would open at 7:00 pm to accommodate any early arrivals. Seating for your party would begin at 7:30 pm, with the show starting at 8:00 pm. (times can be somewhat flexible to accomadate your groups specific needs.) The showroom would be entirely non-smoking, per local smoking laws. Everyone attending must be at least 18 years old, with a valid ID.
 
Comedy Off Broadway maintains a one drink minimum policy. It doesn't have to be alcoholic, but we're funnier if it is.  During private functions the bar minimum is the responsibility of the party renting the facility. 
 
We have listed below a variable scale of how the bar minimums will be structured, depending on the number of guests at the show. The number used will be the actual count in the showroom as the headliner begins their performance.
 
Private FUNdraiser bar minimum at Comedy Off Broadway
 
Performance - 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes
 
50-74 guests w/bar minimum of $225.00
 
75-124 guests w/bar minimum of $350.00
 
125-174 guests w/bar minimum of $575.00
 
175-199 guests w/bar minimum of $775.00
 
200-248 max guests w/bar minimum of $875.00
 
Bar minimums are based well below our regular averages. Obviously, our normal one drink minimum will not be in effect for your private show. We will merely add the lounge beverage totals to the showroom totals to reach your total number. Some groups choose to pay for a portion or all of the guests' checks, this can be handled in a number of ways.
 
  • The showroom is available for an added fee of $75 per additional hour (or partial hour) prior to or immediately following the show. This time may be used for catered functions, auctions, meetings, audio/video presentations, awards, speakers or sing-a-longs.
 
  • A deposit of $300.00 (three hundred dollars) is needed to secure the date and time. The next installment of $ (the balance due) will be due no later than 5 (five) business days prior to the event. Failure of meeting this payment schedule will cause a lost of some or all of your deposit and date.
 
  • Don't forget we have the capability to show your videos (VHS 1/2" or 3/4") prior to or after the show. Let us know of any unique needs you may have to make this a multi-function event. We specialize in catering to special needs before and after the show - just ask!
